Charles H. Weaver, M.D. is the founder of CancerConsultants.com. Dr. Weaver is a medical oncologist who trained at the University of Pennsylvania, National Institutes of Health, and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. He spent five years as Chief Medical Officer at Response Oncology Inc. In his role at Response Oncology, he developed and implemented the strategy for interfacing with biopharmaceutical companies, established the clinical research organization, created the site management organization and developed the managed care strategy. Dr. Weaver brings to CancerConsultants.com a wealth of knowledge and experience in the clinical and business practice of oncology. He has extensive contacts throughout the oncology pharmaceutical industry. He has a well-established record of collaborating in clinical research with the biopharmaceutical industry and has authored more than 100 publications.

Adam Tanous was educated at Williams College and Stanford University, where, in 1983, he received a B.S. degree in chemical engineering. After working for a number of years as a research scientist in Silicon Valley, he earned an M.F.A degree in literature and fiction writing from the University of Virginia. Before joining OncoEd, he worked as writer and newspaper editor since 1992.

Kari has a BA in Human Biology from Stanford and a Doctor of Science degree in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health. Her doctoral thesis explored dietary and hormonal risk factors for breast cancer. Before joining OncoEd, she spent seven years conducting research at the Group Health Cooperative Center for Health Studies in Seattle, Washington. She has published in the fields of cancer epidemiology, epidemiologic methods and vaccine safety.

Dayna received her BA in Psychology from Whitman College, studied pre-med and basic medical sciences at Boise State University and the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, respectively, and received a certificate in technical writing from Coastal Carolina University. She has been producing and editing oncology-specific education materials for patient and physician audiences since 2003. Her medical writing experience includes covering major cancer conferences in Europe and the U.S. and contributing to regulatory documentation involved in a new drug filing to the European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products (EMEA).
